DESCRIPTION
Electro optical airborne system EOAS-I-18B is a light weight, small dimensions aerial surveillance payload equipped by a full HD TV camera and an IR camera with 95 mm lens which have capabilities for Geo pointing (GPS), determining target velocity and direction without need to use from laser range finder.
IMAGE PROCESSING UNIT
This module is used for tracking and adding signs and text data on image. Target is selected via control panel or touch screen monitor connected to. Following algorithms are used for tracking:

GEO – PACK SOFTWARE PACKAGE
●This package is used for calculating target velocity and position by using of a GPS and considering Line of Sight (LOS) to be displayed on output image or communicated to a ground station via communication link.
CONTROL UNIT
●A control panel contains all switches, keys and a touch screen monitor required by user to control platform and track target.
Main functions of this unit are:
●Platform panel turning ON/OFF
●Saving position mode angles (pre-set 1, pre-set 2, Zero position)
●Enabling functional modes
●Control of Pan/Tilt rotation rate
●Zooming with fixed rate
●Manual Focus
●Menu driven settings for TV camera
●Selecting tracking procedure
●Tracking enable/disable
●Enable/disable each of OSDs separately by a key on panel
●Switching between cameras and turning IR camera on/off
●Internal settings of IR camera including calibration, digital zoom 2x.
●Removing drift in Pan/Tilt by using of Menu key
