The BMI 450 diesel marine engine are subgraded and modified in Iran to be used in marine vessels up to 450 hp. The improved items in this engine are the heat exchanger design, ECU, and its possibility to have constant torque at different engine speeds and optimum performance in Persian Gulf climate pointed out. This engine can be utilized for various applications, such as medium use for patrol, passenger and cargo vessels.
