DEFINITION OF ARCHITECTURE
The fundamental organization of a system is embodied in its components, their relationships to each other and the environment, and the principles governing its design and evolution.

SA RESPONSE TO CHALLENGES BY 
●  Identifying stakeholders needs
●  Describing high level design of systems and subsystems (a holistic view to system)
●  Defining a plan (time & budget) to describe how successfully systems are developing through projects

Architectural Description 
Architectural description is categorized by the company’s perspectives. Common perspectives in several SA framework is depicted below. Each layer embodies some architectural descriptions of system. It is noticeable that these layers are related and operable to each other to promise an integrated system that meet the stakeholder needs of each perspective.

SA PROJECT
With MESSIR-COMM CIPS system, ICI benefits now from:
●  Exploring an enterprise or a comprehensive system (system of system) that exit (AS-IS), and describe it with different models like flowchart.
●  Defining desire system (TO-BE), in different views like structure, process, IT solutions (software, hardware, network and …).
●Determining how to fill the gap to achieve TO-BE situation through defining related projects like BPR, IT solution acquisition, development customize software in term of project RFP.


Framework is
●  Based on problem domain and enterprise type, developed in several frameworks.
●  We use DODAF (Department of Defense Architecture Framework) in military project.
